This hotel was ok, very clean and comfortable, staff very helpful etc. Breakfast was a little disappointing, no brioche after the first morning and some strange looking ham. Room very small, but we were not in it much, but no drawer space and few hangers made clothes storage difficult. The pillows were like small, soft cushions but the beds were comfortable. However, we were on the top floor and there is no lift, so ask for a room on a lower floor when you book or be prepared to carry your cases up 30 stairs!

Room tip: Avoid the annex. Others in our group said it was cold and noisy being closer to the busy main road.

This is a very local Comfort hotel , very small and for the french, not ideal for those of us from the UK. No English spoken. The manager was OK but the staff not helpful. Compared to all the other Comfort Hotels I have stayed in this was the weakest. My wife and I were snow bound here for 48 hours and it was not our best experience. Suggest you arrive late and leave before breakfast

My wife and I stayed here with our nine-year-old son in late July 2012. We were on our way home, and wanted one night's stay in Rouen before driving to the ferry at Calais. Unfortunately, we were unable to find ANY hotels in the Rouen area that would accept two adults plus one child in one room on 30 July except for this one. It was okay. Cleon is not Rouen, but the location was satisfactory: a quiet residential area next to a busy dual carriageway that didn't keep us awake in the night. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean but a bit cramped and in need of redecoration. The bed was too short for a six-footer (me) and rather lumpy. The dining room looked rather old-fashioned but was clean and bright. The food was okay but, for a vegetarian (me), a bit limited: mostly rather vinegary salads, plus some over-cooked chips. Still, the hotel provided us with welcome accommodation and an edible meal when little else was available, and we were grateful for it.

Arrived without a booking having just cycled 80 miles. The young lady on reception was excellent and we had room keys and a cold beer within minutes. The rooms are rather small but the beds were very comfortable. The showers provided excellent hot water at a very good pressure but the shower doors in both rooms were far from water tight.
The restaurant for the evening meal was excellent, with a very good choice and reasonably priced. However breakfast was a rather poor affair both in regard to choice and quality.
Overall a good experience for a walk in booking however make sure that if you want a no smoking room you ask when booking as we failed to do this and both of our rooms had a strong tobacco smell.

Room tip: If you want a no smoking room make sure you ask for one on arrival.

This hotel is not too far from Rouen. The rooms in this hotel are basic but functional. We have stayed several times in the rooms in the main part of this hotel. Although it is near a busy road, the rooms at the back are quiet.
The staff are always very welcoming.
The restaurant is very good. Compared to the Campanile Caen Est Mondeville, it is fantastic even if it is not luxurious. Here you get a great welcome and you are made to feel special even if the rooms are basic.
The buffet starter and desserts are varied and fresh. The prices are very reasonable. Lots of people who are not staying at the hotel come in to eat there which is always a good sign.
Sleep quality is excellent at the back of the hotel but may not be as good on the other side.
We recommend this hotel. Good value for money.
