a superb small hotel - staff extremely pleasant and the hotel itself and the rooms are exceptionally clean- Food excellent
would recommend to anyone who is not looking for extreme luxuries though there is nothing lacking in this hotel

Stayed at the Hotel Alfonso with my 4 and 16 year old daughters. The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. If you do get a room with a balcony be careful if you take small children.

We stayed as bed and breakfast and was happy with the breakfast that was on offer. You can eat and drink as much as you want.

We were right next to all the lovely restaurants and one in particular was really lovely and the food fantastic and huge portions.

Hotel Alfonso is a 3 star hotel in St Julian's - we stayed there in March this year. From our balcony we could see the 'love' sign section of Spinola Bay, the room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful and the location was excellent. They also have internet access.
During our stay we met several people from other nearby hotels who were eating breakfast at Hotel Alfonso - even though they had paid for the breakfast at their hotel.
The little restaurant was very popular - extensive menu of home styled cooking and very well priced.
We felt very fortunate to find this little gem and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
