Stayed here for 2 nights on business and found it convenient for the centre of town, (5 mins by car) and provided all the facilities I needed. Definite attempt at a Spanish theme throughout the common areas and Parador Restaurant. Room comfortable and well appointed with air con, iron and board, nice bathroom and toiletries, with plenty of towels. For convenience I had a meal in the restaurant both nights which was pleasant but not particualrly memorable. Good breakfast choice. Tried the gym and found it to be well equipped and quite spacious, which is unusual for a hotel. I definitely warmed to the place during my stay and would happily stay again.

“Comfy bed and nice restaurant but lacked atmosphere”

Stayed here for two nights recently to attend a friends wedding.

The hotel room was nice/standard but felt cramped as they have tried to fill it with too much furniture - no need for a second chair or a round table.

The bathroom seemed respectable, nice towels and toiletries, until I went to use the bin and discovered it had a shaving razor in it - not acceptable cleanliness.

The telephone in my room never worked - despite my friend and family members rinning me from their room and mobiles the phone never rang. I checked all levels of the ringer and nothing helped. Reported it, along with the razor, to reception but nothing seemed to happen with the phone.

I ate one evening in the restaurant and the food was very lovely - recommend the duck though the breakfast the following morning was one of the worst, for hot food. All the food when I went up was cold so I opted for fruit and bread. Didn't bother getting up for the breakfast the second morning.

Had a lovely sandwich in the bar one of the days.

The hotel was nice but not the best I have stayed in and it lacked any sort of atmosphere. The staff seemed helpful and nice, yet the phone never got fixed and the bin not being cleaned before my arrival are big negatives.

Don't think I would stay here again if in the area but may pop in for food.
