Away with a few members of extended family, inc two young teenage girls, for some shopping and general relaxation.

The hotel is just off the royal mile, which is located centrally in the beautiful city of edinburgh. 5mins towards the castle, 5mins the other direction to the main shopping area. It was brilliant in that respect. Espcially to let the girls wander around themselves.

However, at night, drunkards did gather outside the front of the hotel making quite a bit of noise. It was upsetting for the girls, who couldnt sleep and even complained about it themselves to the hotel.

Food was average, as were the rooms. Pool and gym were an extreme letdown!! Old fashioned, filthy, and very basic. Prices were scandalous for what we received, but the location for a short trip was ideal. I dont think I would pay for it again, but rather, pay less for a better quality hotel further out of the city centre.
