We stayed here during the first two weeks of July as a family of two adults and two girls aged 7 & 9. We were initially allocated a villa as opposed to the suite that we had booked. We only discovered this after we had been there for over a week. The manageress was quick to resolve the issue when brought to her attention. We got a suite of our choice and were adequately compensated us for the mix up, so no complaints there. We had some minor maintenance issues which were resolved straight away which was good. The suite that we had was a living room bedroom and bathroom in roughly equal proportions with a patio and furniture. There was a TV which was mostly spanish with one of the main british 24 hr news channel. The resort hotel is set in well maintained gardens, all of the accommodation is at ground level and close to one of the five pools. The entire complex and accommodation was spotlessly clean, there were staff quietly brushing and mopping the paths and poolside from about 6 am each morning. The children were well entertained by the animation team who seemed to be there morning noon and night, the mini disco was a big hit. The adult entertainment was also suitable for kids who enjoyed the comedy and fashion shows etc. The food was varied and of very good quality with plenty of fresh fruit, salad, cheeses, hot and cold meats etc. Pork and Seafood seemed to be on the buffet more so than beef. We were here for two weeks and by the end of the second week it had become a bit repeditive but I imagine you would find this at most places. It would be nice however if the food was a bit more international with a bit of Italian or oriental thrown in. The staff were a bit of a mixed bunch with some going the extra mile whilst some bar staff could be somewhat abrupt at times. The hotel seems to attract a good standard of clientele and despite the availability of all inclusive alcohol I did not see one instance of overindulgence or any thing other than good behaviour. Most of the guests were spanish with a few british german and french. There were some annoying surcharges like 2 euros per day to use the room safe and 6 euros per day for wifi or 18 euros for a week. I used the wifi and found it to be slow at about 0.5 GB for download. This was okay for catching up on news websites or downloading e-mail, at times I could not get a connection. To be honest it was a bit dear for what you got but cheaper than buying papers for a week. The Hotel in my view represented very good value for money when you take into consideration the provision of food, drinks, accom, entertainment and relaxation. We would use this Hotel again and recommend it to young families in particular.
