Stayed here in a great city view (which was fantastic) serviced apartment from Dec 31 until 7 Jan 07. Rooms were ok value wise given the time of year - I upgraded the room and they forgot to charge me for it so this slightly improved this aspect.

Apartment was really spacious with large double bed and walk in closset which my fiancee was very excited about. Can't complain about anything in the room apart from the lack of Fox which was a slight dissapointment given the 'Executive' badge.

Pool area is good with a spacious BBQ area also attached.

Location is good is you want to walk to Aussie stadium or the SCG which are 10 mins away. The city centre is 30 mins walk or A$10 in a taxi. Lots of good restaurants around including Bills next door.

Overall a great place to stay just slightly away from the centre which would be very appealing to families. Just one further note however - the grass roof top tennis court is not open!!

Excellent place to stay for a couple of days. The rooms are spacious and the balconies have excellent views.

Location is OK - although there is a Salvation Army centre about 10m from the hotel and walking late at night was a bit intimidating especially since on both occasions, we were asked for 'change' with a rather aggressive tone from drunk youths.

We werent too happy with the airconditioning initially as it was a rather old unit and every time it was turned on, it gave off a weird smell however we eventually got used to it.

Stayed here for a night after flying long-haul into Sydney, following a recommendation from a mate.

Room rate was AUD100 for a double room, and the apartment we got was huge!! 2 large bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms and a great kitchen / lounge area.

Definitely better value for money than staying centrally.

Great restaurant next door too!

The location is great with wonderful restaurants and shops in the area.

I found the staff to be great and more than accommodating.

The apartment could deal with some refreshing (paint on walls, caulk around the tub, curtains, etc.) but not horrible by any means. Just normal wear and tear.

My only real concern here was that there was no peak hole in the door to verify who was on the other side. Security is not an issue here but it is something I am used to at all hotels these days.

This is a great choice for the self sufficient traveller.
