Stayed here 4 nights and was given a great, spacious apartment with a gorgeous view of the river. Unfortunately a noisy festival was going on outside so I asked if I could change rooms after the first night. The staff were wonderful and gave me another much quieter apartment the next day without any hassles. Great location, spacious apartments, no complaints.

Stayed with 3 friends in a two bedroom apartment. Was very spacious and well equipped. Had two bathrooms and an laundry facilities. Was very clean. Very large balcony over looking some of the city, the casino, and some of south bank and brisbane river! Right next to the Myer Centre and Queen St Mall, it was a great location. Front reception staff were very helpful!!

Stayed ten days in a one bedroom corner apartment on 21st floor. Asked for a river view but they are two bedroom units on the front.Lovely apartment clean, nicely furnished with all mod cons. Surprised and pleased that the unit was serviced every day with out extra charge. Very friendly and helpful staff. The apartments are very centralto everythingyet quiet. Would definately stay there again.

I stayed here by myself for 3 days in July and generally found it to be excellent. I was in a one bedroom which was quite compact, but still with full kitchen, dining table in and out for four. The furniture was all nice and very comfortable. I was only on the 10th floor but never found it noisy at night. I have travelled a lot over many years and this was my first time staying in an apartment, hence I was not really aware of how they work. Mostly it was like a hotel, they stored my luggage on arrival and departure, and gave me somewhere to get changed and pack my shopping into my bags before flying. Has a nice lap pool, spa and small gym all on 7th floor. My main problem was that I was staying in July and my air con wasn't going hot, it would only put out cold air. My room was a little cold in the late afternoon/evening and mornings. I was lucky it was 24 outside one day so at least if I openened my balcony door some warm air came in. I told reception it wasn't working, but because it is an apartment they have to wait till the next day for the maintenance man. On my arrival back the next day I was told that the problem was a major and because it was going to cost more than $200 to fix the owner had been notified and they would need their approval and then it would be fixed. Hence it was never fixed while I was there. So that is something that I was never aware that happened. Staying in a new place like Oaks Casino you wouldn't really expect too much to break down!
Other than that the location is brilliant. Very easy walk to all the shops/malls, also to Southbank Parklands, Botanic Gardens, even Roma St Parklands. There are numerous great cafes, some right next door, for breakfast lunch & coffee, and a gourmet burger place almost next door for dinner. But the best place was right over the road the Lab Bar (which is really a restaurant) at the Treasury Hotel. I went there for dinner, very nice atmosphere, excellent service, and fantastic very well priced meals. Highly recomended.
