My work collegue and I did the right thing and paid for a full weekly rate, up front, for our weekly stay. When our work on Sunday was changed to Saturday, and we were told (by our boss) that we needed to be in Mackay, first thing Sunday morning, we asked for a refund/credit for the one nights (Sat) accommodation. The manager was very rude while telling us that "WE DON'T DO REFUNDS"," We will have to charge you for six nights at the single rate, and then you will owe us more money"..... I could not believe it!!! She was extremely rude. When I said "On "WOT-IF" the rooms are $85 a night for a min of 3 night stay, and.....", she interuppted with...."YOU DIDN'T BOOK THROUGH WOT-IF, YOU BOOKED STRAIGHT THROUGH US, AND THAT VILLA (which stunk of mold, by the way)YOU ARE IN IS $92 A NIGHT, SO THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO" and I replied that I would tell all of my other collegues not to stay here, and was answered with "WE DON'T WANT ANY OF YOU STAYING HERE ANYWAY" I really was totally floored, that a customer service business could speak to a fully paid up client, like she did.
