We stayed here for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon tour of Australia. The manager of the hotel very kindly left us a complimentary bottle of wine with a nice note. Thank you Sir!

The hotel is in a great location, a short walk away from the Flagstaff Gardens Tram stop. Melbourne is without doubt the most tourist-friendly city we have ever visited and was our favourite out of the places we visited.

There are no less than three FREE trams to get you around and the streets and tourist points are extremely well signed. Oh, and there's a futuristic monorail too! You don't need a car or even to spend money on getting about. If you do have a vehicle, be prepared to get stung for valet parking at the hotel. There didn't seem to be many alternatives.

We had a lot of fun in Melbourne and would love to visit again. It's a shining example to other cities of how to treat tourists.

This hotel is in a great location if you are interested in being close to the Queen Victoria Market. The hotel is very clean, the most comfortable bed I have ever sleep in and the breakfast is really good!

“Beds were like sleeping ona cloud”

Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens

We stayed for one night only in December. Flew in early morning from Adelaide for a weekend of shopping.
Although our room was not ready when we arrived at 8.30am they stored our bags and took my mobile number and off we went shopping at DFO which is only a 10 minute walk away.
They called me at 11.30am to advise the room was available for us to check in.
After a full day shopping we eventually arrived back at 6.30pm.
The staff were so very friendly and helpful. We arrived in our room. Yes it was a little on the small side, but the beds wwere so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. Huge bathroom.
Could not fault the hotel. Victoria Markets were just around the corner 2 minute walk away, so a great quiet location close to all the good shopping.
Highly recommend and will return.

“Boring and uncomfortable”

We stayed at the time of renovations which we would have avoided if advised at the time of booking. Only one lift was working which made getting up and odwn from our room very slow. The staff were constantly taking up the entire lift with the baggage carriers and not offering for people to go first. The food in the restaurnat was boring, the surrounds were boring and the view from our room was dull and depressing. the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows worse! The only thing it really had going for it was that it was clean and nice. the room was ok size. Better for business trips than anything else

We stayed for 5 nights in january 08, and found most of the staff to be unhelpful, rude or incompetant. The only exception were the room service staff! The room was small and was supposed to be executive??? but could have done with a face lift. It was clean though. Location good and pulblic transport links good too. Radisson generally offer better than this so was a disapointment
