Arrived after long flight, very late at night to mess up with room, we'd booked 3 nights but they had us down for 1 - they saw it was there fault and said not to worry although the chap on reception was hard to understand. There is a VERY lively pub next door that I thought was going to be a problem with sleeping if we were that side and inside the hotel corridors a few back packers hanging around in groups which again we aren't used to and are past that stage!
Room very basic with no view at all but clean with tea/coffee etc - showers bases are strange and drench the floor but lots of power! Didn't hear a sound from the bar. You get a card to get into your room and also to use the lift which is a good idea.
Out early next day after breakfast, sour faced lady in breakfast wanting money first, but breakfast was good if rather expensive. Arrived back at hotel to very nice receptionists and manager who had moved our things to different room (ref initial hotel booking error) and they said we'd be moved again the next day but rooms would get better and better and we'd been given complimentry breakfasts. Went to new room which was much better although still no view, all our things had been put EXACTLY how they were in the last room, someone had amazing memory!! Arrived back next day to next room which again all our stuff put out fine, this time room was very nice with great view!!! the room had sep kitchen and two bedrooms, much better bathroom.
Couldn't really fault the staff very helpful, if I had known I'd have booked a better room for the stay as was quite startled at the first one and wouldn't have wanted that for 3 nights. Lots of info and internet in reception. Some of the youngsters staying seem to in high spirits turning off lights etc.
Overall fine it's a Comfort Inn not the Ritz but book a good room
