I have been living in Perth on and off since August and the Four Points has been my second home. I think that all the staff now know me personally and I have been treated very well from the day I arrived.
I recently achieved SPG Platinum status and this was immediately recognised at check in. Currently upgraded to a suite which is much more comfortable than a normal room.
Restaurant is good, but menu is limited. The staff also cater for my dietary requirements and are always pleasant and smiling.
Down sides : When there is an event at the Arena, the hotel is very busy and the bar can be exceedingly noisy. Also, when there is an event the hotel does a buffet dinner, and we were turned away a couple of times when we wanted Ala Carte but we were told we could not have this in the restaurant, but could order it into our room, with the addiitonal $5 tray service on top. This was a little annoying, especially as just wanted a quick meal.
Also, $33 for a breakfast is very steep, especially as I dont eat a lot for breakfast. The additional $4 for a barista coffee is also insulting on top of the expensive buffet breakfast charge. There should be more choice for breakfast for lighter eaters.
Up side : Mostly the staff here are what makes the experience special. In particular I would like to mention Johanna at reception, Misa and the other smiling faces in the restaurant. I will miss coming here as I am off to Melbourne next week!!
Try to get an upgrade each time, you never know your luck. Join SPG for free, it does add up very qu...

We were delighted that you have chosen Four Points Perth to be your home away from home and congratulations on becoming an SPG Platinum member, a great reward for your loyalty.
As a regular guest we definitely value the feedback you have shared with us, and it is pleasing to know that we have already made some changes that hopefully will reflect positively on your future stays.
Whilst we apologise that we do offer a different meal selection during the Perth Arena nights, this is in place to ensure we can meet the demand that such performances create. By offering our buffet it allows guests an opportunity to dine without delay so that they can attend their show on time. We do offer al a carte after 7:30pm on those nights once the show has begun.
We have recently introduced a continental breakfast option for our guests so when dining for breakfast you can have a full buffet, continental, or al a carte and as a Platinum member, you are able to select breakfast as your complimentary welcome amenity for your stay.
Thank you very much for the positive feedback about our associates, Misa and Johanna in particular, having provided you with excellent service throughout your stays. We will definitely share your comments with our team.
Have a great time in Melbourne and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Four Points Perth again soon.
