I chose this hotel after reading lots of positive reviews on this website. I booked a single room apartment but when I got there I was put in a double bedroom apartment for no cost which was fantastic! These rooms are very big and comfortable and had a full kitchen including pots and pans etc and even a full size fridge, washing machine and dryer. The reception staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly, the room was always cleaned to a very high standard and the location is good with free bus, ATM, mini supermarket and a few restauraunts and a bottle store on the opposite corner.
My complaints are only small ones, the swimming pool on the top floor was a little bit dirty (stuff floating in the water), the room air conditioner worked really well but was quite loud during operation and our balcony looked out over a small courtyard then a wall. But over all I would certainly stay here again and it was good value for money (especially given the room upgrade).

The Saville Apartments are well situated and spacious. The reception staff are as helpful as I have ever had. Daily maintenance is efficient. The apartments are well fitted and it is great to have the extra space an apartment offers. We stayed there for 10 nights. Drawback? The Saville doesn't have an outside lounge area and the parking charge is over the top. Overall though, I strongly recommend these apartments.

I recently led a group of 14 on a study visit to WA ... our Perth accommodation was organised by our host in Perth. Saville Park was an excellent choice. Our rooms were spacious and well equipped. There was privacy for colleagues sharing a two bedroom suite, useful as our group members hadn't met before the trip. The front desk staff were calm and helpful. The restaurant staff were cheerful even for a 06.30 breakfast ! Location is fine ... there is a CAT (free bus) stop on the next corner, ASTM over the road and mini-market nearby ... but I doubt that you will get over-excited about shopping in Perth and the CBD is empty after 5.230 pm.

We had Christmas in Perth, and some of my family had been in Oz for a month watching the test cricket. The Wacca is extremely close to this hotel.
There were always plenty of Reception staff on hand to help out with any queries and they were all so cheerful and friendly. The restaurant staff were brilliant too, but my only complaint would be that the menu didn't change in the fortnight that I stayed there. Excellent food and expertly cooked but if you want a great variation then you would have to find different places to eat out.
The 2 bedroomed suite we had was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a laundry also (very handy if you are travelling with family). The kitchen was well equpped if you did decide to make a meal or even breakfast. Balconies not very spacious but big enough to sit on and have a glass of local wine. Our suite was always very well cleaned and tidied, considering we were travelling with 2 untidy teenagers!!
We hired a car, however parking it in the Saville Park was a bit pricey. Handy to have the use of the safety deposit boxes, behind reception though.
The walk along Hay Street into town would take about 15 to 20 minutes, but a very pleasant walk if you aren't really wanting to travel by bus. The bus service did run extremely efficiently and regularly with the stop being really close to the Saville Park, we didn't use it though as we had the car.
The shopping centre in Perth is fantastic, and the shops so varied. Plenty of lovely restaurants/coffee shops/pubs in town to choose from if you get a bit bored with the small selection close to the hotel. There is a very good off licence (Bottle Shop in OZ)accross the road from the hotel which stocks a huge range of wines and beers, so extremely handy if you fancy a glass of something.
Our christmas lunch was taken at Frasers Restaurant over in Kings Park. What a fantastic location, and a beautiful lunch with excellent staff. Even though it was packed, the service was absolutely spot on. You pay quite a lot to eat in Frasers, but well worth it.
I wouldn't hesitate to return to the Saville Park, as the wonderful staff made our trip very memorable.
