Reservations had not acted on an email they received, informing them that we would be arriving on the 28th and not the 27th.
They had cancelled our booking as a "no show".
But what really upset us was the attitude of the receptionist.
She handled the situation really badly, assuming that the mistake was ours, with huffs and puffs, raised eyebrows, and no eye contact.
This was until she read the email she had in her possession, with the correct info!!!
The assistant manager handled the situation very well , and found us upgraded rooms elsewhere in town, as all the hotel was then full.
