We booked a 2 bedroom apartment through the Stella Resorts site in Australia whcih showed availabilty for the 6 days we wanted, even though the Lodges own site indicated no room! in the event we were allocated a 3 bedroom unit but asked not to use the 3rd bedroom. The apartment had stunning views and brilliant location with a really easy 2-3 minutes amble to the steamer wharf with its bars and restaurants. Although there was a little traffic noise this was not an issue - and was probably far less than many of the apartment complexes based on the very busy Frankton Rd experience. The unit was spacious, well furnished and comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen and laundry room. The bedrooms, though smallish were ample. Clean towels were provided every day, whether we asked for them or not! We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lodges and would definitely stay there again.

Queenstown has many fine accommodation places on the hillsides, but my problem was to find somewhere on the flat, handy to the township and hopefully with a view of the lake and mountains and at a reasonable rate.
We found this at Breakfree Lodges.
By making a call I was able to get a ground floor apartment with easy access . We did get a nice view too,though we had our car parked right outside the door and partly in front of the window!
And we were only 2 or 3 minutes walk away from the attractive Lake wharf area, and the lake and a walkway was right across the road.
The upstairs units had balconies and glassed areas and probably a wider view.
The apartment was very comfortable and had underfloor heating so was always cosy,with a separate lounge and bedroom, and kitchen facilities.
We were supplied with clean towels each day ,and had very friendly
assistance from the staff, and a bonus was the the special rate being offered.
