This is a reliable favourite, always open with lots of really fresh fish on offer. We were there for lunch, and after a glass of bubbles I had the rockling fillets in a butter caper sauce baked in foil. It was truly superb. The battered fish and chips was a good sized serving and met with approval too. Service is efficient and pleasant, the wait time for meals is short, and the standard is consistent. Its popular with locals too, so enough said. The location at the start of the pier is great, even on an overcast day in winter.
