Gusto Riverfront Restaurant enjoys a fabulous location on the "foodie strip" of Gympie Terrace, Noosaville. It boasts a stunning outlook, great vibe and a consistently high standard. Operating for over 12 years it has remained a steadfast favorite for both locals and visitors. Along with my husband, friends and family I have enjoyed many special times here over the years and have found it to be crazily consistently great: food, wine, service, ambience and outlook make the total package pretty much perfect.
While certain dishes are constants on the menu (such as the Cuttlefish Salad and Mooloolaba Prawn Ravioli) in order to avoid a riot from Gusto regulars, new dishes appear seasonally eg, Local Seafood Chowder, Braised Sticky Lamb with home-made Gnocchi are a couple of dishes we enjoyed from the current Autumn Lunch Menu. Famously fabulous desserts and sides are also featured.
Our most recent visit to Gusto was just last week and we enjoyed it as much as our first visit over 10 years ago. The decor, food, wine-list and service are all fresh and on-trend and create a casual but elegant ambience that's fun and lacks pretentiousness. The food boasts fresh local ingredients, contemporary flavors and great presentation.
This is one of those rare gems that are cared for and loved as only owner/operated establishments can be... and it shows. While owner and head chef Nathan Hall heads up the kitchen with extensive skill and experience, his wife Kay takes care of the front of house with effortless grace, excellent food and wine knowledge and smiles!
Gusto Riverfront Restaurant is a "must visit" on a trip to Noosa: enjoy a long lunch overlooking the Noosa River and North Shore or take in a stunning sun-set while enjoying a sensational fish and chip meal. Whenever you visit, whatever you order, you can't go wrong here.
