I stayed at Bergheim Hotel for 1 week in February 2012. I really enjoyed that stay. The staff is very helpful, the food is quite good and plentiful (4 course menu+salad buffet), the rooms (well, the room I stayed in, can't say if it's standard) are comfortable and warm, with a big bathroom featuring a huge bathtub, great when you return from a hard day skiing and want to soak in for a few minutes.
Wifi is free. Cable TV, with mainly german-spoken chanels, with a few other choices (BBC World, TVE, RAI1, TV5).
On the downside, it's a bit far away from the center of Lech and the major lifts. About a 10 mn walk, that can be, unfortunately, a bit hazardous in ski boots, as the hotel sits on a hill and the path is very icy. However this can be solved in 2 ways: first, leave your gear at one of the renting shops (I left my own skis at Sportalp, right next to ski school, for 2€ a day) and the daily walk will be much less painful. Second, if the snow is good (which, in Lech, means "Almost all the time"), take the ski route, at the end of the day, from Madloch/Zug, if you went skiing over to Zurs. Even if you are an average skier, it won't be too hard (unfortunaly, I only found out about this tip on my last day).
Bergheim Hotel is a good choice if you intend to stay in one of the most beaufiful ski resorts you can imagine. Lech is a great ski resort, with state-of-the-art lifts, superb snow, beautiful blue and red runs (although some of them on the flat-side) and some fine (and medium-priced) mountain restaurants.
If it weren't for the fact that I do not like to repeat the same place twice on a holiday, I would certainly return to Bergheim. But, who knows, someday?...
