Just returned from the Atlantica Aeneas and ccan highly recommend a stay here. We booked an Executive Family Room with direct pool access and ended up with the Grand Suite which was fantastic, large patio, flat screen TV's in each room, jacuzzi bath, 2 ensuites ... just perfect. The new rooms are towards the back and were only just finished this year, it is peaceful and quiet there as you can not here any of the entertainment at the main pool although in no way is there loads of noise. We thought the food was fantastic and the service great. The pool was freezing but this would most likley be really refreshin the high of summer.

We were all-inclusive and would recommend this - some cocktails are included although they are limited. Kids went to Kids club every day and loved it aswell as the kids disco and evening entertainment. Nissi beach is across the road and is lovely and really saf e for kids. We had a look in the Adams beach hotel whilst there as we had considere this one aswell but can say that it looked quite tired and was not luxurious looking like the Aeneas so were glad we chose this hotel.

All in all, loved it, weather prefect and would highly recommend a stay there.

We have just come back from the hotel this week and it really was lovely we had a room amongst the new suites over the back with direct pool access. The room was kept very clean by the staff and had chocolates and water delivered everyday. The room had a flat screen TV and small jacuzzi which we were not expecting. The balcony was very nice and during the day we did not feel the need to move as the sun got to it all day. The food was good and you cannot fault the variety. The all inclusive option was a good idea for us and the waiting staff were very quick and polite...Overall a lovely stay and we would definately go back...

“great hotel but needs tlc”

This hotel is lovely, the pool is most definately its feature point and is so big it always looks empty. I agree it deserves it 5* for that but a few things need attention for the price you pay. Food is good very varied always something to choose from but can be luke warm on accasions, also the presentation is quite bland comparing it to other 5* hotels , the rooms are big enough and are fantastic because of the direct access to the pool although could be cleaner on the patio area and steps into pool. Bathroom towels i think are supposed to be white but are a grubby grey , rough and quite worn, i like nothing more than a nice towel and normally in a 5* this is what you get. Pool towels are ok and plentiful. Pool itself is clean and also area around. loads of sunbeds. The wet bar is brill and so is Kyri its barman, he made our holiday ,very friendly, great service nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment is not 5* ,the childrens, yes the girls tried hard and overall done really well but after that the shows were dreadful, i expect more for my money from a 5*. Look closely before you go all inclusive to see if the drinks you like are on there because only certain drinks are. Reception always helpful and english spoken all over hotel. Plori bar ok but not very friendly outside bars much much better. Overall I had a great holiday and so will you if you go to this hotel just dont expect too much on the 5* rating. A tad overpriced .

I went on holiday with my husband and 2 sons aged 11 and 8. We were upgraded to a executive familly room on arrival and it was lovely. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was cleaned throughly each day. I was really worrid by previous reviews and it really spoilt my anticipation of going on holiday but the reviews must have been written by professional moaners.
The food was very good. The pool was wonderful. We had no problem with sun beds and the pool towels were always clean and available. Even on our last day we had a late check out and our room was cleaned. Staff were helpful and friendly. The Thomson rep welcome talk was very good but I was later to find out inaccurate when my son was ill and I must say the rep was unhelpful and unapproachable. The entertainment on an evening was average and repetitive, although the fun in the sun reps were very hard working and the kids disco was fun. Lee, Sarah, Martin and Sophie did a wonderful job. The day time activities were changed after 7 days of us being there by a new Thomson Platinum manager. This was done without any consultation of what guests wanted, and went down like a lead balloon. Why I wonder? The other thing we found that a lot of the activities that were on offer in the broucher was no longer happening because it was a month left to the end of the season which was disappointing.
So our problems were to do with Thomsons not the hotel or the people. We couldnt have wished for a nicer hotel and the pool was simply the best. We would certainly go back to this hotel and would definately recommend it.

Nearly did not book after reading some of the reviews as we wanted a bit of pampering and that is what we got.
The pool is the most amazing ever, we were waited on whilst we lazed around.
Staff so friendly and I mean everyone even the few who spoke little english tried so hard and worked their socks off. Stephen the barman who kept us upto date with the rugby.
I know it can be an expensive mistake but people need to form their own opinions.
Met up with several couples who also felt it was a fantastic hotel.
If I were to be picky the view from our balcony was not great but as we were AI we spent little time in our room by the time we got back it was dark. The roomI have to say was more than we expected for a 5* in Cyprus.
Food was fantastic my only complaint was there was so much choice it took so long to make up my mind, I did not eat the same food twice.
I agree with a previous review about the catamaran trip a complete rip off. You can go out from Ayia Napa on the glass bottom boat to Famagusta, lunch included for £10CP a fraction of the trip price.
Maybe we are just easy to please but I would definately use this hotel again and am thinking of taking our grandsons with us next time.
