Myself and my husband have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel. Weather was very hot and sunny and night temp never went below 29C which made it very uncomfortable at night when going out for something to eat or drink. Within 3 minutes of going outside, you will find your clothes will be sticking to you and you will be sweating loads.
The food and drinks on an all inclusive basis are out of this world. Every cocktail you could ever think of is on the menu for you. Word of warning.... If you are not AI then the drinks at this hotel are very pricey. A cocktail would be 6 euros and a beer would cost you 4 euros. A soft drink would cost you 3 euros. The food was presented very nicely. Everything you could think of food wise is available for everyone.
Myself and my husband got a room upgrade on arrival due to it being our honeymoon. We got upgraded to the excutive suites, which consisted of a seperate lounge and bedroom. We had the biggest bed that I have ever seen!!!! We had a shower room with toilet and also an ensuite with a lovely jacuzzi and overhead shower which was the best shower I have ever used. On arrival to our hotel suite, we had a bottle of wine and fruit, and a red rose waiting for us in our room. What a lovely touch that was to a beginning of a wonderful holiday.
Our hotel suite was overlooking a private pool which was wonderful as we had no children using this pool. This pool had a lovely bar where you could sit on a stool in the water and order any drink you wanted. The pool bar was ran by a lovely lady called Suzie. Go and visit this pool bar as she is one of the best bar attendants that this hotel has. Say hello to her from Mike and the couple from Gloucester!!!!!!!!!
Entertainment at this hotel is ok. Finished a bit early for my liking! They would have a kids show/disco until about 9.30pm and then an adult show/disco until about 10.45pm. After the entertainment has finished at this hotel there is nothing else to do but, drink. If you come out of the main entrance to the hotel and turn left and follow the main road you will come across some bars that stay open until about 1.00am with disco music. Otherwise the only other option would be to take a taxi into Ayia Napa which will cost you 8 euros. All sorts of bars and clubs that stay open until 6.00am. Visit Senior Frogs. Best pub/club I have ever been to. Also the Carwash is a good club to visit as well. These two pubs/clubs are next to one another and are located just out side of the main square in Ayia Napa. Ask one of the PRs and they will tell you where to go.
Overall an excellent holiday.
My only complaint about the hotel is the Sunbeds. You have to get up at 6.00am in the morning to reserve your beds. Do not think you can reserve the night before because your towels will be taken by the security guards and you will end up losing your blue pool towels and you will have to pay a fine to get your towels back.
