Have just returned from this hotel and will be as fair as I can, we booked this as a late deal with travel republic and got a very good deal,it is an adults only hotel which was a big attraction for us,the hotel is spotlessley clean every where,we had a very nice room,we upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely, jacuzzi bath, super shower, lovely towels again spotless, we had a bedroom and a sitting room with leather sofa and a flat screen tv, plus two balcony's, did hear a few remark that the rooms are small, cannot comment on that as ours was plenty big enough, so to be sure go for the suite, well worth the extra, only downside had a veiw of a kebab shop and several blocks of flats, we were on the third floor and had no problem with noise at all, very nice dining room, again spotless, proper tablecloths and napkins! I found the food lovely, I'm a huge fish lover and had lots of fish everyday, beautifully cooked and tasty, so I was very happy, my husband on the other hand hates fish and his selection was quite limited, an awful lot of pork and chicken, occasionally veal which neither of us will touch due to ethical reasons, and during the week we were there no lamb or beef, did have a lovely salad bar with lots of assortment, the usual pasta with sauces, wine beer and soft drinks on tap, the breakfast was very good, cereals, cold platter and a very good cooked.Pudding pretty much the same as most all inclusive, creme caramel, blancmange, ice cream plus the little cakes that pop up everywhere, a lovely selection of fresh fruit ie melon, pinapple, kiwis ect, you wont go hungry and all presented attractively, they also do a lovely picnic, lots of assortment and a huge amount, just ask at reception the day before. only moan I did have was we arrived at just before midnight and asked if there was any drinks available ie tea coffee, there wasnt so asked for a bottle of water as we had our own kettle ect, was told couldnt have water, drink from the tap in your room, my husband did and was sick, with such lovely rooms and also a four star is it to much to ask for a bottle of water to be popped in the fridge in your room, especially when you are expecting guests to arrive late!! or what about tea and coffe facilities in the rooms, you provided a fridge.
Anyhow all public areas are very clean and comfortable, floors gleam! furniture attractive and comfy, nice pool with quality sunbeds, also there is a jacuzzi pool and a sauna, small bar with got very busy at times, especially when the barman had to collect glasses, wash them up and serve on his own,but this didnt detract from our enjoyment at all, what was disappointing was the entertainment or lack off it,nothing at all during the day and during our weeks stay was only one evenings entertainment,it was an organ player/singer, sorry to have to say but was pretty grim,he spoke no english and am afraid the whole evenings entertainment was geared to the german guests,I dont want neither do I expect Bingo, Kareoke ect, just a couple more nights and an equal share, not just for german guests, the tv was the same, we did pay for a remote but wasnt really worth it as only eurosport, cnn, and the news, plenty for german guests! also a lot of the staff had no understanding of english which at times made things very difficult, and must admit at times felt like an outsider, this hotel is aimed at german guests, ie entertainment, language spoke at hotel ect, but if you are happy to take money from us brits, then please cater for us as well.
So all in all, a lovely modern clean comfortable hotel, adults only, good food, lacking in entertainment, english speaking staff, which is sadly the only reason we will not be returning, sort this out and we would happily return and recommend
Rooms on third floor appear to be quiter, ask for a decent view,we got fed up looking at the kebab s...
