This is one of the loveliest hotels I have stayed in. The atmosphere and moroccan decor was warm and friendly and the staff were great (good advice on local walks). The food was superb too.

We spent two nights there, and the room felt very very small. The common room / dining room is lovely with a great atmosphere, and we thought the staff was very helpful. We had dinner there twice, and it was good.
It is a very steep walk (down) back from the center of town, which was very slippery as it had rained.
The garden and pool are lovely and the views from there are nice.
I would stay there again, but only for up to a couple of nights as it does get a bit claustrophobic afterwards!

Super romantic hotel. Best Location. Friendly Staff. Small, comfortable, clean Rooms. Great Breakfast. Fair Prices.
But don´t have a tapa-lunch in the hotel. it was bad.
we arrived with the expectation of a small room, after reading the reveiws, and wern' t dissapointed! our greeting was pleasant, the main area spacious & airy and although i am not at all claustrophobic, (my husband is) even i found it difficult to cope with the lack of space, having to send him out to the terrace whenever i wanted to get ready or do anything in the room. there is just not enough space if you have luggage! The bed was very comfy, soft fluffy pillows, a fan that we had to keep on all the time, i agree with a previous review.... what no coffee.... or anything after midnight we had to take a candle from the dining room for the terrace so that we could see what we were doing whilst we sat chatting! all said and done it was a pleasant enough place to stay, the staff were very pleasant, the food was good, the flowers lovely but having just been to a wonderfull place a few days before, i think we were a bit spoilt! we also ate at Dona Pepe and had a lovely meal, and Brilliant service even though we were very late, they were very attentive and entertaining! great tapas at Patatin Patatan just off the plaza.

We stayed here for our last 2 nights of honeymoon and have to say that we were disappointed. We arrived and were shown our room but there was no welcome and no offer of help with our luggage. It felt like a motel welcome.
Christian and his wife were not there on the first day. We later sat next to Christian at a restaurant (casa maria) but he did not seem to recognise us the next day nor did he or his wife introduce themselves to us.
The descent back from Ronda is a bit precarious so not suitable for children or for anyone with walking difficulties.
The rooms are small with basic amenities (no mini bar or fridge or kettle or AC). The gardens however are beautiful but "bijoux". We asked for a coffee at 11pm after coming back from Ronda centre and were refused flatly. If the hotel is not going to provide kettles, it should at least be prepared to offer drinks post dinner.
The hotel was full and we got the feeling that the place was making a lot of money and therefore they did not really care - when we left, no one asked us if we'd enjoyed our stay. We also found a number of other guests who tried to leave early.
All in all, we think it better to stay at Los Castanos (see review) which is much more authentic and a much more pleasant stay.
