My mother and I took a half day trip to the Terezin Ghetto. We booked with an english speaking guide with Premiant Tours through our hotel. However our tour was multi-lingual with a combination of English and Spanish speaking tourist. Apparently in the fine print of their brochure it states that tours are multi-lingual and if you wish for a tour in only one language to book a private tour. The tour guide Manuel was not very fluent in english and it was clear from the beginning that he was stronger in Spanish. As a result the other english tourist on the tour and us believe we got a very brief description of everything as the guide was unable to elaborate as extensively in english as he was in Spanish. Several things Manuel said came across as disrespectful and blunt as he was unable to fully articulate the information and take into account the sensitivity of the situation. On the tour we stopped at a few museums, the information is written in English. The English speaking members of the tour were left to peruse the information themselves whilst Manuel took the spanish members off to explain everything to them. Due to this we only got through half the written content before Manuel was finished showing the spanish members through and we had to get back on the bus. Anyone wishing to visit the Terezin ghetto I would recommend they do it themselves by catching a bus from Prague and paying for a guide at the small fortress upon arrival.
