Complete hidden gem. Was here during a trip to Prague over July 2013 and stumbled upon this "wine bar." I use quotes because this in fact is a wine bar with the most extensive menu I have ever seen for a wine bar and most delicious! When you walk in, it does not look like much as there are only a few tables upstairs, however, downstairs, there is an open air kitchen with several tables and a fireplace.
The waiters and waitresses are fluent in English and can recommend any wine for you and there is a large variety to fit every budget (which I appreciate). My aunt and uncle who are very educated in wine, were most impressed by the selection and that is a very hard task to accomplish.
As for the food - EVERYTHING is wonderful and pasta homemade - so thin you can see right through it. We went for dinner one evening and took a long walk to digest it all :) So delicious, we went back for lunch the next day! I had the risotto with spring vegetables flavored with saffron for one meal and fresh linguine with seafood for my dinner. My aunt was torn between two or three dishes and the waitress was able to have the chef prepare a bit of each. Their service is unmatched!
If you want true Italian food with an enthusiastic and helpful staff, Vino di Vino is it! I only wish I had more time here to try the entire menu!
