I didn't have the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel Bohemia in Prague but I did attend an Irish wedding there which was five star standard all the way........
The location was very central to the old town and the staff were amazing and fluent in English which made us feel at home in the elegance of the theatre style function room. We had preordered the menu and each place setting was named making each course arrive consistently exactly the way it was ordered. I'm a vegetarian which can sometimes be difficult when travelling but not this time. Each plate was dropped to the table and placed simulatiously with the nod of the head waiter. The management in particular were outstanding and were on the floor from start to finish looking after us. They chatted with all guests including myself ensuring we enjoyed the day/night from start to finish. I have to mention two members of staff Jan & Martin who were outstanding.
The wedding was organised through an agency and if you were ever worried about booking music to entertain your guests, dont! The name of the wedding planners escapes me right now, but they really picked the right DJ on the night. His name was David and after chatting him I soon realised that he had Irish roots hence the 5* standard of music.
I work in a 5* Hotel in Ireland and as a venue for a wedding I couldn't fault the Grand Hotel Bohemia in anyway.
Keep up the great work and thank you for a tremendous day.
