Stayed here for 3 nights. We were on the 3rd (top) floor, but the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor. Two of the staff members carried our bags up which was very helpful and kind of them. Our room was very charming, small but functional and very clean. The bathroom was very small, we were able to borrow a hair drier from reception but there was no where to plug it in. There was definitely a shortage of power outlets in our room. The location is fantastic, very close to charles bridge and the old town. Unfortunately there was roadworks happening in the street so there was a lot of noise early in the morning. Breakfast was good, not a huge variety but something for even the fussiest eater. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem i found was the sensor lights in the hallways, particularly the stairwell, were very sloe to turn on at night. The stairs were very steep and difficult to navigate in the dark after a few pints! The doors are also difficult to open, maybe because the building is quite old, and are very squeaky (as are the floor boards).
regardless, i was very happy with my stay here and the price was fantastic for the location - i would definitely stay here again.
