Dwor Oliwski is situated close to the city of Sopot. To get around you need taxi.
The hotel is very nice. Outside it is a beautiful garden. The rooms are very big and high standars. Old polish style i was told. The restaurant has nice food and a fantastic winelist. The most impressing with the hotel was the poolarea. Very beautiful. Perfect for relaxing. I tried the spa and it was perfect. Even this hotel is not in the city i still prefer this over the others in Gdansk and Sopot. The concierge was not good, he could not give me 1 restauranttips outside the hotel, that is his job...

The hotel is located outside of the city in the woods, but only a 10 minute cab ride (50 PLN) from beautiful Gdansk, but very close the wonderful cathedral in Oliwa (hence the name). The decoration is traditional Polish but with very good taste and all modern facilities - something else than those boring international business hotels. The cuisine is excellent and the spa wonderful. I just found my new favourite hotel in the Gdansk area - especially during the winter when the rates are lower.

Upon arriving in Gdansk following a l9hr period of travelling from Canada, our taxi driver suggested your hotel since the apt. we had rented in Gdansk wasn't available for a couple days.

Our stay proved to be excellent, rooms were very clean, dining room was superb, service great & breakfast buffet one of the best we've had in all our travels.

My spouse & I travelled along with our 2 adult daughters & we would not hesitate in recommending your hotel. We hope to return at some time in the future.

What can I say more than already hasn´t been said on the reviews of this hotel before. Everything is true.
The staff is wonderful, the breakfast superb (I ate so much that I easily skipped the lunch), the dinner absolutely fabulous.
The room was very clean.
The location was in the woods around 9 km from the city centre but the taxi costs only about 10 euros so it´s not a big problem.
You can easily walk to the Oliwa cathedral and the zoo from the hotel.

The only thing I found negative was the Finnish sauna in the spa,
it was too hot, no moist in it:) (better saunas back home in Finland)

If you want to take it easy and relax and be treated like a star, this is the place for you.
If you want a lot of nightlife, this is not the place for you.
