We have just returned from a short stay in Krakow. We stayed in the Atrium Hotel for 4 nights. Well located from which to explore Krakow and neighbouring attractions and sites. The staff in the Atrium Hotel are friendly and very helpful ensuring an enjoyable stay. The room we stayed in was large and well cleaned. Beds were comfortable enough and we were in a quiet area of the hotel away from any early morning noise from the building and renovations being carried out in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was disappointing but was adequate. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Krakow. Conference facilities were also available at this hotel.
Krakow itself is well worth a visit and we were pleasantly surprised at how interesting the city is. A visit to the Tourist Information Centre in the main square is advised to plan the best available tours, prices etc. A visit to nearby Austwicz and Berganau is a must on the itinery. The Salt Mines were one of the wonders of our visit and a must for any tourist. Some of the restaurants we ate in were of the highest quality and at prices that were reasonable, especially given the quality of the food and service. All in all, a great holiday.
