we just spent 2 nights at this Novotel. the location is not that centrally located (being closer to Wawel Castle would probably be a better bet for centrality). the hotel was modern and the staff was very nice and helpful. the weather was very hot and there was little to no air conditioning working in any of the rooms. we were a party of nine, with 3 out of 4 rooms very uncomfortable, temperature wise. the rooms were clean, though, and are nicely stocked with bathroom amenities. I would stay elsewhere if I were to travel to Poland again, but I would recommend this hotel for a one night, inexpensive stay.

After a trip to other european cities i decided to take my wife to the city of Krakow. The hotel location, just 15 minutes walking distance from the old square and not even 5 from the castle. All the service was very attentive and friendly. This is a well managed 4 star with a noticable attention to impressing their guest. Comfortable, well set up rooms. I mentioned to the manager of the restaurant that it was our anniversary and he offered us a bottle of chablis ! I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at the Novotel for three nights early March with another couple. The hotel is well situated overlooking the Vistula River, and most rooms have a view of the Wawel Castle. The hotel is only a fifteen minute walk to the Market Square with its bars and restaurants.
The hotel itself is clean and airy. The bedrooms are of a reasonable size and are well equipped. The food is not expensive. Staff are helpul, friendly and efficient. Public transport plentiful and taxis not too expensive.

The Novotel Krakow Centrum is extremely well run. My double room on the 5th floor was spacious and nicely furnished. The bed was firm and of good quality and the bathroom was well designed and attractive - even if the bath/shower unit was a bit 'plasticky'. Everything was scrupulousy clean and made up efficiently every day.

The hotel has an attractive lobby and bar area and the adjoining dining/breakfast room is bright and cheerful too.

The breakfast choice is as good as I have found anywhere in Europe. My only criticism is that the self help area, in the centre of the room, is somewhat constricted and it is difficult at times to get near the food.The evening menu is good and extensive and the food well prepared.

Service throughout was quick and friendly, including at the reception desk. If I have a complaint at all, it is that the hotel is overheated. I had to turn my room heating off and open the window to its limited maximum to bring the temperature down to about 20°C!

The location is not the most beautiful but is perfectly OK. The hotel overlooks the R. Vistula(and a main road) and is very convenient for sightseeing. It is an easy 15 minute walk into the city centre's main square. Trams and buses pass the door. I would certainly be happy to stay here again.
