We chose this hotel based on the reviews on this site, and weren't disappointed. The hotel was clean, staff helpful and the location ideal. We had a street front room on the first floor but weren't disturbed by any street noise at night.
We booked through staypoland.com, also based on information given on this site, and received a good service from them.

Visted this hotel for three nights in Feb 08. All other reviews recommending it as a great place to stay are all correct. The hotel itself is very comortable with a traditional Polish feel and pleasant staff. Excellent location close to Wawel and Town Square. As well as being very clean and comfortable the rooms also have a well stocked and reasonably priced mini bar.
Lots of little bars and restaurants close by. A few minutes from the sightseeing bus stance at the Wawel which is very handy. We did the open top bus tour which lasted just over one hour and cost 50 zl each. Auswich Tour is very powerful and one that will stay with you for ever - we went with Cracow Tours which were a bit pricey at 120 zl each but I would say value for money as excellent tour guides and in total we got 3 hours at the Camps.
We arrived at the Airport at night and got the 292 bus which sits just to the right as you exit the terminal builidng - this bus was a bit slow but did take us to the main bus station for 2.2 zl each and then we got a taxi to the hotel for about £5 as it was late and quite a distance to walk ( about 25 mins walk). On the return to the Airport we booked a taxi from the hotel and it cost 70 zl but we did not mind this cost as our flight was in the morning and it gave us more time in Krakow this way.
As far as retaurants go there are loads to chose from we had a fantastic meal at Wierzynek and also at "Under the Angel" at 36 Grodzka.
We loved Krakow and the Hotel Senacki and will be back for another visit soon!

Booked 5 rooms here from 26 Jan to 29 Jan. The hotel could not be located better as pointed out by others yet the street outside was quite at night. Although I rarely eat in the hotel I am staying in I did on this occasion. Only very slightly more expensive than other restaurants that are nearby and the food was very good and brought to our table by a very smiley and chattey waiter. Very nice bar in the basement of the hotel as well. All the hotel staff spoke flawless english although this would not be a prob for us as we are Irish and polish is virtually our second language here now. This is my third time in Krakow as I love the place. I will be returning and the Senacki is where I will be staying.

Just returned from 3 nights at the Hotel Senaki. We paid the extra for one of the luxury rooms and got Room 101 on the first floor which was excellent. Hallway with fridge, sitting room with TV, bedroom with TV and huge bathroom. A minature Versaille Palace. Lovely balcony overlooking the street. We were not bothered by any noise as the street comes off the pedestrianised square - there were a few cars and taxis going past but nothing too bad and we slept well every night. Hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was had a good central heating system and there was an air con. unit for the summer. Breakfast was good - quite a reasonable selection. They do hot food and there is a sign on the wall saying you can have a variety of eggs, ham etc... but they don't offer it to you and you have to ask but it is well cooked when you get it. Reception staff speak reasonable English and were very polite. Excellent location between the main Square and the castle and everything within walking distance. If we went back to Krakow we would definately stay there again.
Pretty place - not a lot to see for more than a day or so. Everything within walking distance once you have your bearings. We went on the hop on/off tour bus which is a bit of a waste of money as it can only go around the "ring road" - not the nicest of views!. It would be better to get a tour on one of the little electric carts that tour around the town and because of their size can have access to all the little back streets. Nice shops and loads of restaurants and bars - they tend to eat early and we found by 7.00 it was difficult to get a table so if you see somewhere you fancy during the day book a table for that evening! Definately try E. Wedels cafe in the square if you like chocolate - their hot chocolate drink was just that - hot melted chocolate - delicious.
