We stayed at Hotel Columbus for three nights and had a great experience. It's located in the Kazimierz district of Krakow, which is slightly outside of the main tourist hub but is an attraction in its own right. We walked from the train station and getting there was fairly easy, although it's a long way to wheel luggage. We checked in 2 hours early and our room was all ready for us. The staff was very helpful in helping us navigate the city and make plans for a trip to Auschwitz (which is a must-see). The room was spotlessly clean with a big bathtub and good shower pressure. I did have a slight issue with the street noise while I was trying to sleep, since it's right outside the window, but I'm very sensitive to that kind of thing -- my husband, on the other hand, never heard a peep. Breakfast was great and elegantly served, with a big selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, breads, and juices. We ate dinner in the Hotel Columbus's restaurant one night and enjoyed the attentive service. I'd definitely recommend Hotel Columbus and would stay there in the future if we return to Krakow.

Stopped at the Hotel Columbus for 3 nights in April. Great location, just one straight road to walk up to the main square which takes approx 15mins.The hotel is absolutley spotless. Very modern with a stunning bathroom. Breakfast was of a good standard for Poland ! The only down side to the hotel is the traffic noise throughout the night. I f you are on the front of the hotel, as we were, you can hear the traffic all night. The trams run until about 2am then start again at 5am so make sure you have enough beers to drown out the noise !!!

Hotel Columbus is an excellent hotel. Its in a great location, only a short walk to the market centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful! One of the girls in particular went above and beyond her duties in helping me post an important document!! She was fantastic. The rooms were great, breakfast was great. Can't recommend this hotel enough. Would definitely stay here again.

booked via octopus website - excellent hotel with spotless rooms, good breakfast buffet and restaurant. Its's been recently renovated, so all modern fittings. Tram stop nearby and 15 mins walk to old town, less than 5mins to main sights in kazimierz. would go back if visiting area again.
