We stayed at the Radio Inn for 3 nights in mid-September. We walked from the train station - not a long walk, but the route is through some questionable areas. We agree that the Radio Inn breakfast is somewhat overpriced, but it is quite convenient as we did not find any comparable alternatives (cafes, etc.) nearby. We did find a little convenience store a couple of blocks down that had plenty of fresh baked goods and other items. The apartment itself was lovely - spacious rooms, serviceable kitchen. The location was perfect - just 2 blocks from the second oldest (and definitely the cutest) subway line in all of Europe, which takes you directly to the city center in under 10 minutes. Andrassy Street is really beautiful, and we loved the nearby Bagolyvar restaurant - ate there twice. Would definitely stay here again.

For 50 euros we got not a room but an apartment, old but very clean and calm (if you ask for a room on the back). Staff is very efficient and welcoming. Metro is 100 meters away and only 2 stations to the park and the Szechenyi Baths and direct to the center of the city in the other way. The kitchen is perfect for beakfast as you have 3 supermarkets in the neighborhood.
Very nice place to stay if you want to enjoy Budapest and rest.

Four of us stayed here in October for two nights.

We were initially given two apartments on the top (5th floor) but access to/egress from these was via an excposed balcony which was a bit precarious so we asked to be changed and were instead offered a large, three bedroom apartment on the ground floor. This also contained a small living area with satellite TV and a kitchenette, as well as separate bathroom and toilet cubicle.

The apartment was OK if a little old fashioned, but perfectly clean. Location wise, it is close to the diplomatic part of town, the main commercial and entertainment area is about 15-20 minutes away by foot, though some monuments and spas are closer.

Breakfast is included if you wish, and is simple affair typical of Eastern Europe, with plenty of bread and cold meats, but few hot items.

There is also a modest garden in the middle of the complex which might be nicer in summer, and drinks can be bought from reception.

What we saw of the staff, they were pleasant and helpful.

All-in-all, a decent place to stay, though I might opt for a hotel next time.

Definitely above average.

Just be careful where to park your car because some parking areas in front of the hotel are reserved for diplomats and the staff at the hotel doesn't advise you.

Fees are very expensive and the police seems to wait there for foreigners.
