Good hotel for the price - rooms small but comfortable - breakfast average.
Hotel has Sauna, but this is NOT FREE - it is part attached to a function room, and you have to pre-book the whole facility, cost c. £25 which is OK for a group of you. Better isKalev Spa water park, attached to Kalev Spa hotel, 10 minutes walk, on edge of old town - cost £3, and has sauna and steam rooms as part of the pool complex, and also single sex saunas in changing rooms - this is free with Tallinn card. The card is worth getting if you plan to do the "Tallinn official Sightseeing Tour", which picks up 1 minute walk from hotel - otherwise just get a pass for public transport for the number of days you are there.
No 2 bus takes you from airport to hotel - hotel is at Passenger Terminal and is the last stop. No 2 bus takes you from hotel to Viru KKeskus(shopping centre - attached to Sokus Viru Hotel, which is a very visible landmark and therefore easy to find). No 20 takes you to edge of old town, at the botom of Viru. Coming back, didnt find No 20 stop, but No 2 stop is outside Viru Keskus on A. Laikmaa.
February is very cold, and with evening temperatures -15c at night, almost too cold to go out, and daytime up to only -9c on one day. although got to -2c on last day (phew- what a scorcher!!!!)
