Stayed here for 3 nights with my friends from 9 Oct to 12 Oct.Hotel is perfectly located in Old Town.The rooms are contemporary and so spacious! No complaints at all! The breakfast buffet was excellent,both hot & cold food available with a wide variety of choice.Staff were very helpful & spoke excellent English.We enjoyed Riga,lots of good restaurants too! If anyone likes Indian food,I would recommend Indian Rajah restaurant.We did eat in other very good restaurants,but unfortunately I didn't note their names! Old Riga is full of cobbled streets,so take appropriate foot wear!

Hotel Centra is for me the best choice is Riga, location couldn't be better!

The hotel is located at the beginning of the Auto-free zone of Riga's Old Town. Many shops and restaurants are just a few steps away.

The rooms are large and very clean! The bathroom isn't very large but offers all you can wish for. Minus is the shower that's fitted into the wall, which makes it difficult to use.

The breakfast is ok, with fresh fruit, rolls etc.

One major minus for me was the noise coming from the street, with live music on Friday and Saturday it was pretty hard to get to sleep. Besides this, Great place!

Hotel is in the centre of the Old Town, modern, clean, buffet breakfast was fantastic, could not have selected a better hotel. Staff very helpful and courteous.

Five minutes' walk from a bus stop for the airport Number 22 bus, the hotel is located in the heart of the old town, a couple of doors down from an Irish bar, Paddy Whelan's.

It is not only central but clean, nicely decorated and comes complete with mini-bar, large flat-screen TV and free-to-use safety deposit box. Having travelled with three friends for a long weekend, we were placed in adjacent rooms and all impressed with the hotel's location and décor. We didn't experience any noise, like other reviewers, but kept windows shut at night (air condition is available in rooms anyway). The bathroom was extremely clean, with an excellent bath/shower. Everything about the rooms was excellent.

Breakfast wasn't quite the experience I was expecting, taking into account past reviews, but was decent, with cereals, toast, cheeses/meats, fruits. There was only a limited hot selection – bacon, eggs one morning or sausage, omelette the next – but to be expected when travelling abroad.

All in all, a very impressive hotel, one I would have no hesitation in using again or recommending.
