This is a lovely and a very popular casa. It is listed in most travel guides, so if you wish to stay here, book early! The owners are both very knowledgeable and friendly and both speak English. They will tell you interesting stories about their home, Trinidad, life in Cuba in general, and their love and efforts to help local animals. Julio Munoz is a horse whisperer and a photographer and it is really exciting to hear his stories. But if you are not very chatty, they will leave you in your peace and mind their own business. In any way, you will feel very comfortably as a guest in this wonderful casa.
The rooms are very large and beautifully decorated. Guests can also spend hot afternoons in a cozy living room magnificently decorated in colonial style. You can also take stairs to the rooftop and admire the views of Trinidad from there while watching sunset. You will be most likely accompanied by one of hosts' three dogs, a lovely and friendly Dalmatian.
This casa is a truly lovely home, bring some dog toys or treats if you want to make the dog hosts happy, too :)
As in any casa, the food was excellent and lots, so if you decide to dine at home, feel free to skip lunch ;) Best appetizer - fried green banana chips.

This is also one of the very few casas that will require you to make a payment during reservation. Do not get discouraged by this, it is simply due to the fact that more than 50% of tourists in Cuba reserve rooms and fail to show up. Read up more on how difficult it is to manage your casa in Cuba (owners have to pay big sums to the state even when rooms are not rented), so it is very important for them to rent some rooms.
N/A there are only two very similar rooms
