This was the worst vacation we ever had. We made our reservations almost a year in advance based on the information given us about this establishment. We asked for a two bedroom which stated in the literature had a spa tub. The reason we wanted two bedrooms was because we were going to take our son and daughter-in-law for their anniversary. They weren't able to make it at the last minute, but with the situation as it was, it was probably for the best! Not only did it not have the spa tub, but we were given a handicap room. Although it is nice that the hotel offers that kind of room, it was not one we wished to stay in. The counters where lowered with no cabinets underneath. The shower was accessible for a wheel chair, and the toilet was raised up. This is an ocean front property and the view from our living room couch was a roof! The curtains were attached with Velcro which didn't support the weight of the material very well and I had to climb up on a chair to reattach them. We also had to call and ask for a remote for the TV. We were supposed to stay for a week and we asked to have our room changed as soon as we checked in. We even told them that a one bedroom would be ok. We were told that they probably couldn't move us over the weekend, but the first of the week shouldn't be a problem. We checked with them everyday and finally on Thursday when they called to tell us they would not be able to move us we just gave up and went home. We even had reservations for Hearst Castle on Friday, but we were so unhappy we just cancelled them.
