The Jameson Inn of Albany, Georgia is in a great location...right off the bypass. All around the hotel are many different places to eat. Lonestar Steak House, Applebees, Ruby Tuesdays, Papa Johns Pizza, just to name a few. The hotel has outside corridors, the pictures online depicting interior corridors are incorrect. My company put me up in this hotel for 2 days on work-related travel. There are no frills here. A nice king size bed along with micr-fridge, and WIFI. Good signal from WIFI. Small continental breakfast in the morning. Outdoor pool also available. Plenty of hot water in ths shower with good water pressure. There are a lot of construction workers staying at this hotel. Road construction going on. A little noisy at times, but tolerable. Definitely thin walls. The Mall of Albany is less than a mile down the road. Didn't get to explore much of the town due to work and time constraints. In conclusion, the price per night is about what you'd expect for the amenities that you will receive. If you just need a place to sleep, I would reccomend this hotel.
