We stay here regularly as my grandparents still live in this area. I can say that this is by far the best hotel in the greater Chicago burbs, and I have stayed in a lot of them. If you have Kids, this is a VERY kid friendly hotel, the rooms are quiet and well insulated so you don't have to worry about noisy teenagers romping through the halls or partiers. The pool area is a mini waterpark for kids, our daughter has a great time there. THey also have a really good breakfast, best free breakfast in a hotel that I have stayed at.

Positives:
Easy to get to, right off of 88. Good service, Great Pool, Outstanding free breakfast, quiet, spacious rooms.

Negatives:
Parking lot layout is a bit funky and problematic when they have weddings. Its not cheap, but its still a good value

Summary:
If you have kids, this is the best place in greater Chicagoland to stay, even if you are going to the city, consider staying her eand commuting in by the train (station is not too far from here). They also have hot tub rooms, which are really nice if you want the romantic getaway feel

Love this Hampton Inn and Suites. I stay here at least 2 times a month when coming to work in Chicago. I stay at Hampton's almost exclusively. This is by far the best one I stay at. Great service, staff you name it. The best excercise room I have seen as well. Can't say enough. Stay there and you will see.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for one night 12/06. This is the one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The breakfast area is very large and there are plenty of places to sit. The pool area had a small play area for the kids with a slide and dump buckets. You would think this hotel is brand new but it's about 3 years old. I highly recommend it!

Very nice place. Not the typical Hamton. I am Gold hhonors, so I got a one bedroom king suite. Fridge, microwave, 2 TV's, DVD/VCR, sofa bed. Also very clean public areas. As a business traveler, I did not use the pool, but I did look at it. Huge for a hotel. Lap lanes, big hot tub, and separate kiddie pool with sprinklers. All together sufficiently nice enough to motivate me to write all of this! I would stay here again, no question.
