I asked that someone from the hotel contact me regarding the issues below, but now 9 months later....well, I've given up. So I will relay these to other travelers.
Things started out bad when we arrived......At check in, I had to wait about 5 or more minutes for someone to appear up front. My wife and I stood at the front desk while some employee stood outside chatting with her friends. Finally I called the hotel phone number and a female who I think was the manager answered and then came right up from the back. I had planned to ignore this. She did do a nice job in selecting our room location. BUT, with the other problems, I changed my mind. This was just the start.
The night we checked in-after a 10 hour drive. I pulled the cover on the bed back only to find stains on the pillow case, sheet and-these stains matched the stains underneath them on the mattress pad. So that told me the sheets had not been changed. And yes, I did take photographs of them to document. I took these nasty sheets to the front desk-by this time it was about midnight-and requested clean linens immediately. I was given them, so after driving hundreds of miles I have to change the sheets on the bed. And yes, I turned the mattress pad over. Then the morning I am walking down the narrow hallway, when some moron guest with 2 dogs, easily over 75 lbs each, passes me and his Rottweiler looking dog lunges at me as I press against the wall-and the owner laughs. What is this, a kennel?
Wouldn't you think that after telling the front desk about the filthy linens someone might apologize for that? Well, if you think so, you would be wrong. I have stayed in some inexpensive and cheap hotels, but no where I have I ever encountered anything like this.
The bedding was not clean. When I told the front desk person about this after bringing up the dirty linens, she said "Well, we only do a light cleaning". I asked "Between guests?". I still am waiting for an answer since she did not reply.
There is a business center in the lobby area-BUT not for guests when the hotel decides to have a meeting with the staff there. They told me to come back later.
One of the mornings someone's dogs left in a room are barking and whining. I don't come to a hotel for this.
No wireless internet in room, contrary to what website said.
There were some good things about this place, but quite frankly with what I went through, I don't recall them. They were overshadowed by the hotel's poor service and the bed incident. Contact by someone at the place would have given me some measure of satisfaction, but that never happened.
