This is located in a handy spot at one end of the valley of the birds-zoo area and only a few metres from a large fixed price shop and central market.
It is on one of the main roads so is easy to find.
I went for a quick lunch and was not disappointed.
The price represented good value: the equivalent of £10 for 2 pizzas and 3 soft drinks.
Included for free whilst the pizzas were being cooked were some nice black olives,
small pieces of crispy bready with diced tomatoes. The tomatoes being really tasty.
One can sit out on the pavement in the sun or inside for lunch.
Inside there was lots of character of film stars and places associated with Italy on the walls. Plonk this restaurant interior anywhere in the world and you would know for sure it's an Italian.
You can see the chef prepare the bases for the pizza and place them in a traditional large oven, where you can just about spot them from the counter, being baked.
Both pizzas arrived on the table straight from the oven. Couldn't have been fresher.
They soon disappeared! There must have been about 10 tables in use at about 1pm mid-week off-season yet the service was very welcoming and efficient.
This does not get a 5 star as the table clothes were well worn yet clean and as can be expected in many Moroccan restauarants there were some people smoking on other tables whilst we were coming the the end of our meal.
The expeience was finished off nicely when we stepped outside to get into a taxi back to the hotel - a 1950s white Chevy!
Finally, we did spot food delivered to other tables that also looked really nice and fresh, particularly the pasta dishes with fish...
