For the past eight years I have been going to acupuncture once a month for a neck injury. So after a month of travelling in India, arriving in Kathmandu my first stop was Harsha's Shiatsu in the very upmarket Mandala Square in Thamel. I was in desperate need to relieve tension in my neck and this was one of the first clean- looking places I saw. A spacious, very neat and modern facility run by a Nepali, Sanjay Manander who studied acupuncture in Japan. I must say, the treatment was exceptional and painless. I returned the next day for an hour of Shiatsu and as Sanjay pressed every conceivable pressure point and manipulated my travel-tired body, I realized how well trained and professional he was. Feel free to visit this experienced master of Traditional Oriental methology. He also does reflexology (will try next time!) and moxibustion. Very reasonably prized for an expert at work ! Dandebat, Sanjay!
