My partner and I stayed here for one night as a stopover in Bangkok. The rate at which we purchased our room for the night was definitely good value, but the way were handled, in retrospect, wasn't worth it.
The hotel confirmed that we were to be picked up from the airport upon our arrival. After finding our hotel representative, we were asked to wait 10 minutes before the shuttle arrived, which was OK. However, 10 minutes later we were asked to complete a survey regarding bangkok boutique hotels before we were to be escorted to the shuttle bus. However, after completing the survey the shuttle still hadn't arrived. We ended up waiting 30 minutes, which was a little annoying. What was annoying wasn't the 30 minutes waiting, but more the tardy process we were taken through those 30 minutes. Anyway, the hotel was a 10 minute drive away.
The hotel check-in was quick, and the receptionist spoke English quite well. She then let us know that our rooms were ready for us to use, so the bellboy very efficiently took us to our room. This was at 10am and we were thinking, "Great! At least they let us have an early check-in". Literally 10 minutes later, a different person from the receptionist called us on the room phone and informed us that they were charging us an extra 300 Baht for an early check-in because the room wasn't meant to be ready until 12pm. Look, in monetary terms 300 baht isn't a whole lot, but we felt very much entrapped. Overall, the service was bare minimum - it was as if we were inconveniencing them.
There's really not much else to say really. Everything in the room was nice and clean, tv had only 2 working channels, small kitchenette and bathroom was neat and compact (water pressure wasn't great). In-room wifi was included.
There is a small shopping centre, only a 5 minute walk away, along with street vendors selling inexpensive food and clothing.
This is a simple, cheap and convenient for a stopover ONLY. Unfortunately, we just got a little worse than expected.
