We went to this restaurant after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. We decided to try it for lunch as we were near by but the restarant does not open until 6pm. We went back around 8pm and the restaurant was busy. As we hadn't booked in advance, we was given the option of waiting over an hour or eating at the bar. We decided to eat at the bar.
Myself and my wife decided to skip starter and go straight for main course. We both had the steak with mashed potatoe (see pics!). When the plates arrived, the food was presented very well and the steak was absolutely delicious, very tender. We were glad we asked for it well done though as we would not have liked it less cooked. The mash was very creamy and also very delicious. Its the little attentions as well like getting bread with your meal thats also makes a difference.
For desert I had the creme brulee and my wife had the melting chocolate cake. Both deserts were aboslutely divine and we were left wanting more of the same!!
After talking to the barman (who was a lovely gentleman), we mentioned we were on our honeymoon. A few minutes later, the waitress came out with a complimentary desert (tiramisu), coffee and limcello. Again another little gesture that makes this restaurant brilliant.
Our bill was 2800 baht which was a bit on the expensive side considering we did not have starter but we think it was worth money and would definitely go again!
