It's a nice hotel & very chic. As you come to expect - "boutique" is often a code word for small rooms, and this is the case at Dream. Despite the small rooms, the fit-out was lovely. the blue lights to encourage deep sleep were a lot of fun, if a little weird, but you can turn them off if they are freaking you out!!
The pool is across the road at Dream 2 - on the roof - and it's ok, but nothing to rave about (and lacks shade form the midday sun). And there are only about 10 sun lounges, so it's standing room only at the popular times.
We had a problem with breakfast. We were told when we checked in it was included. We were told at the restaurant the next morning that it wasn't included. When we asked them to check, they came back & served us. Of course, when we went to check out, we were presented with a bill for $50 USD for breakfast. To their credit, after some negotiation, they reversed the charge.
BUT, the biggest problem is the nightclub. Despite being 3 floors above it, the sound thumped through the entire room - until 3am... It was bad for us, but I felt really sorry fro anyone staying below the 5th floor. They told us proudly when we checked out that it's open every weekend night. Great! Thank goodness for the blue lights!
