I booked this hotel based on reviews and a special package they were offering. Free internet and a ride to the airport a saving of about $20.00 american, not much but with the reviews I thought I couldn't beat it. I thought the room was really nice, and top notch if you don't mind small.. but the problems I experienced sort of took away from the stay. The view out my window was a construction site that was noisy during the day and since it was just 30 feet from our room, left no privacy with the drapes open to allow a little sunlight. I had problems logging into there computer system (I use it for work) and it took 3 requests and 3 hours to get assistance. the TV didn't work and that also took 2 requests and 5 hours to get assistance. Everytime I talked to the staff, they seemed put out and rude. The only nice people I found were in the restuarant, bellboys, and doorman, and the maid had always a smile and a warm hello. I might stay here again just to see if this was an odd situation, but would make sure it was for only a couple of days to make sure. I come to Bangkok about once a year for a couple of weeks and like to try different places. So far the Windsor Suites for the price has topped my list.
