Siam @ Siam is absolute a high standard high tier hotel. Staffs are nice and well known in English. They are helpful in anywhere of the hotel. They are aggressive to help us on spot sight seeking and advise us the best transportation under their experience. Price is reasonable although USD is quite weak at the moments however it is a bit expensive if you are a budget traveller. Lobby and check-in counter are in the 11/F however the concierge is still remain at the ground level. Room is not very big or you may say it is small if you compare to those “big name” hotels but it is really “design” and unique. I think it was also design for the ultimate use of the room space (e.g. TV place on the roof of the room but not on the table.) and you won’t feel there is any waste of the space. Like other new developed hotel, open bathroom, but if you need some privacy, you can close the curtain door in order to have a private area. 5-star standard buffet breakfast serve at the dinning room on ground floor, however you may need to wait for a while before you eat as the tables are not really enough. Swimming pool is outdoor in 11/F, small but nice view to the National Stadium. Spa in 10/F and you can have a discount if you stay in the hotel; a small gym room is in the same floor as well. Overall the hotel is very clean and tidy including room and open area (swimming pool, gym room) however the surround area of the hotel is quite dirty. Skytrain station is easy to reach by foot (less than five minutes walk to Stadium Station) and the hotel is nearby some main shopping mall and area of Bangkok. MBK Shopping Mall is just the opposite corner of the Skytrain station above mention and you can also easy to reach other shopping malls by footbridge. I will recommend the travellers to stay in this hotel with no reserve.
