Everytime we took a taxi back to Baan Sukhumvit Inn, it led to frowns on our part and puzzlement for the driver. He simply could not figure out where this generic sounding inn was along the street. That was because the Inn was off the street, into a side lane and to be found in a cul-de-sac. And that is the charm of BSInn. A quiet place tucked between a hair salon and a home-like factory (?). We enjoyed our stay. The room and beds were better than comfortable, simply decorated but stylish enough. Breakfast was hearty. Kevin and Neem were helpful and friendly. Far from the madding crowd of Siam Square but still convenient enough because the Skytrain was just a hop away (well ok - more than a few hops). So, a whisper to my countrymen/women who don't need the cookie-cutter right-at-the-doorstep-of-a-shopping-mall type of hotel, check this place out. But ssh, spread the word selectively - not for buffet-breakfast travellers with kids accompanying.
