This is my second staying week with Park Plaza. The first one was a few months ago. I happended to catch this hotel from agent advise. It was among several other recommendations. I looked at their web site and had a sense that this is a modern and new hotel, with kinds of the feelings that I am looking for, comfortable, quiet, away from the crowd, yet close to city center such as Siam. The Asok station is a conjuntion of BTS skytrain and MRT subway. The taxi is easily caught in the morning and it is very fast to reach office areas in the north with smooth traffic.

The room is so comfortable with the comfortable bed and pillow. I had good sleep every day. The tea/coffee cabinet has all I need. Hot water, coffee and tea. I enjoy relaxing time after work.

I also tried the roof-top swimming pool at sunset. Although it is a small swimming pool, the water is warm and the surroundings are so enjoyable.

I would not hesitate to come again when I visit BKK again.

Some tips, you can get cheap price when you book online, inclusive breakfast. Another good thing is the complementary internet access. The only thing needs to improve is the dinner quality.

Overall, I am very happy to have staying with Park Plaza.

Stayed here for 3 nights from 26th March 2008. It had a superb location, very close to Asok Sky Train & MRT. Staffs were very friendly and ready to help out always and with a smile.

As a business traveler, found the free internet (inclusive?) to be really helpful.

The interior of the room was on top of everything to me. Looked very impressive.

I have not been to Bangkok in 13 years and the Sukhumvit area is so much safer and cleaner than when I was there last.
Park Plaza Sukhumvit is a nice clean spacious hotel. It is one station to Emporium on the Skytrain or in the opposite direction a short journey to MBK, Siam Paragon, CentralWorld Plaza etc. A great hotel to base yourself at for shopping.


It was a shame there were not more guests staying as the hotel seemed overstaffed. I found the service friendly and even had the assistant security manager assisting with restaurant recommendations. Another highlight was having a restaurant called "Good View" recommended as its where the Thai's go for dinner rather than being full of tourists. It was a fair distance and a 100 Baht taxi fare but thats a cheap fare compared to NZ standards.
My only criticism is that the room description on wotif.com was a little misleading. I did not receive a welcome drink, had to ask for our included Sky Train pass and the wording "24 hour refreshments at Executive Lounge" sounds like it is included but it isn't.
Overall the hotel is safe, clean and spacious with attractive decor, great rooftop pool and friendly staff

Every minor detail wont go unnotice, Great location, very clean bathroom and impressive house keeping!

soft and clean bed, love it so much that i don't intend to go out during my 1st day.

24hour room service plus good follow up!

Pool is abit small, Gym very minimum, but i can live with it.

Staff speak good english, when you ask for a cab, they confirmed/communicated with the cab driver on your destination before allowing you to board.

You are paying 3 star hotel rate, in return for 5 star hotel service!

Won't recommand to anyone as i am dead sure i will be coming back again, hence i don't want the hotel to be over-book~
