The hotel is a nice , covenient and elegant, The location is excellent , approach from the beach road as well as the 2nd road which makes is accessible. The rooms are spacious, though i did not get the bay view. Clean hotel, except for the one let down by the housekeeping , they did not do up the room even when i placed a card outside my room. Good room service and good food. Breakfast is good and sumptous. Staff is Very friendly , except the reception area, where everyone is too busy. Overall the hotel is a good pick form other in the same category.

Having done no research on Pattaya we arrived a little shocked from our drive to the hotel with our kids & our golfing group late on a Saturday night. The amount of bars and women looking for men in Pattaya is unfortunately staggering. Our family had two interconnecting rooms booked overlooking the bay which gave spectacular sunset views. The rooms although clean, are in need of a renovation as looked rather tired & worn. This was soon forgotten over the next few days as the staff were extremely efficient & made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was not something to rave about, the choice is limited and the bread selection was stale every day. We did have a seafood dinner at the hotels restaurant one night which was fantastic. The seafood in Pattaya in general is fresh, affordable & very tasty.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The breakfast was superb and open unti eleven in the morning which was great if you had a late night. The staff were generally excellent . The garden wing rooms are a bit small and poorly lit also we had asked for a double bed and a balcony but were given singles however they arranged for the beds to be moved together. There are only balconies on the tower wing and they were very small. The room had obviously been previously occupied by a heavy smoker as the smell of smoke was strong. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned every day and we always had clean bedding and towels. Would definately stay here again . The pools were lovely. We took trips offered by the hotel travel agent and they were very well run and the same price as those offered outside the hotel. The only drawback was the bar prices were very expensive on average 4 times those charged outside the hotel

When travelling with small children (ages 2, 5 & 7). It was important to have interconnecting rooms to allow us some space. This was excellent but the booking website said it had a kids club but this was not the case, which was disappointing.
The Siam Bayview Hotel is centrally located with fantastic bay view hence the name.
Close to shopping & markets. Beach across the road, great food and exceptional service.
The staff are a real credit. These people were exceptional given that there was a flood on our first night and the entire town was flooded.

The only exception was the night manager when I stayed there in mid August. The room keys are required to run services in the rooms so you need a spare key to gain access to the room at night. This is not available at the Bayview Hotel. Any night I went out when I returned I had to wait up to twenty minutes for the night manager to see fit to open the room for me. He would ignore me in the lobby and then meet me at the room where he would then proceed to ignore my presence again, while attempting to open the door in the loudest possible way by rotating the key the wrong way, and rattling his big bunch against the door, and generally making so much noise as to wake my wife and children. This was his obvious intention as he did it every night I went out, before giving me a look that he had better things to do with his time, grunting and going back to the lobby to await the next inconvenience to arrive.
I was getting an exceptional deal and enjoying all aspects of my stay so I let it go. But the spare electronic keys are nearly standard and it would avoid Mr Manager having to do a service he obviously resented being required to do as holder of a master key.

But this goose was no reflection on the hotel or its quality and service which was excellent
