booked hotel through their own website. have stayed here many times and believe it is the best hotel in pattaya for the price 1100thb in high season.
the rooms are clean tidy & spacious. the best rooms are the ones with a walk in shower. the pool is on the roof with a great view of the sea and soi8. the hotel restaurant serves fantastic thai food especially the yellow curry.
the staff are fantastic and make a point of knowing your name i think this is because they want a tip, well we are in thailand.

I stayed at the Flipper Lodge Hotel (520/1 Soi 8 Pattaya Beach Road; Pattaya City) (not to be confused with the Flipper House Hotel) from April 29 through May 6, 2007. It was low season so I paid 800THB nightly (US$23.47). I was assigned room 414. The room was basic but comfortable. Pros: (1) Ice cold A/C; (2) a refrigerator; (3) cable T.V. with a variety of channels; and (4) the room was clean. Cons: (1) Small T.V. screen; (2) dated furnishing; (3) bad view of street from window in the room and (4) small room.

This hotel, like Pattaya, is not a place for families. However, if you are a single guy, the location of this hotel, like most other hotels in Pattaya, is great. It is impossible to step out of the hotel without being propositioned by exceedingly friend girls who are “hanging out” at the bars that line Soi 8.

hotel staff could not have been more friendly even security was good but if you have kids maybe not so good as you are in a soi full of night life and girls in and out also ask for room at back as it is quieter .also 2 minuites from beach

Clean, tidy and central. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good pool on the roof. You must try the Chicken Curry Thai style as it's devive and cheap as can be. Going back Feb 2006 for the 3rd time.
