We stayed at CC Bloom's for 2 nights at the end of our trip through Cambodia and Thailand and we loved it. We stayed in one of their poolside double rooms which was lovely, comfortable bed, v nice bathroom, separate kitchen with fridge, coffee maker, microwave. Lots of lovely touches. The main thing that makes this place so special is the service, the staff there go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need. The breakfast is lovely, lots of fresh fruit, crossiants etc and the food in the restaurant is really good as well. The food may seem expensive compared to other parts of Thailand but compared to other restaurants in Kata its actually reasonable. The pool is lovely and a really good size. We would both really recommend staying here, it may seem out of the way, but they provide a free shuttle service into town, Karon, Patong and to the beach so that isn't a problem. They will also arrange any other transfers you need from airports, ferries etc so just call them in advance.

We stayed at CC's over Xmas 2007 and had a nice time. The hotel was perched on a hill above Kata beach and enjoyed views across the Andaman Sea. The staff were just lovely and were there to help you where they can. The Thai staff were funny and kept the mood alive. There is a picturesque pool to dip in after a day in the streets below. The rooms were fine although a little under my expectations. There is a very large bed in the room, a bathroom and kitchen.
I have to say that the room did smell a bit mouldy. The Kitchen is a bit outdated and the bathroom a little basic.
You probably will get better value elsewhere in terms of a room however the hospitality and friendliness of the staff makes up for it.

Meals were fresh and tasty ! (Full breaki, coffee, juices, spring rolls, spciy salads, Phad Thai and big tropical cocktails - enjoyed in an exotic postcard setting)

A memorable stay !

We stayed at C.C. Bloom's February 7 - 13, 2008. The hotel staff is so nice, it's sickening! The manager knows what he's doing and the owner is very friendly. He even invited us on a boat trip on his day off!
The hotel caters to gay and straight clients, so if you're looking for party boys and nudity, you won't find it here. It's so peaceful and quiet, the day just floats by. Even though there were straights there, we celebrated our anniversary and shared the cake w/ those around us. After all - it's Thailand! No worries.
The room was clean and nice size. Air conditioner was a little cranky, but was fixed immediately when we told the staff.
Now, my only complaint - I arranged the hotel to pick us up at the airport, but they didn't make it. Car trouble. So I hired a car service, and after stopping at a tourist agency (which is illegal now) we finally arrived. The hotel gave a bottle of wine for the inconveince and apologized several times. So, all is forgiven. That's the only complaint, and again, it was resolved immediately.
